The Inspiration of This Site:
The aesthetic and naming of this site is not only because I'm from Texas, or that I'm gay, or the song "Lavender Cowboy," but the added influence of one little buddy
in particular... my dear cat, Cowboy. Adopted in August of 2023, Cowboy found his forever home at the age of 2 years and 3 months old, having been found by county animal control
as a stray, though I'm still not convinced he spent the entirety of that time as a stray. He certainly was never feral.
Animal control had briefly called him "Romo,"
after the Dallas Cowboy's quarterback, but the shelter he was moved to decided to make a couple jumps and go with "Cowboy" instead.
