Get Along, Little Bloggy!

CIA GUY 2 + Medical Examiner's Office Interview
Mar 4, 2026

Funny and short update on CIA guy/client ■■■■■■, as he seemed to pique some interest last time we talked about him.
Was dispensing his meds and asked him how he was doing. I know that question is a bit of a "Pandora's Box" for him and one of the other clients here, meaning you may get sucked down a rabbit hole you were not intending to just by asking that simple question, but he gave me a rather simple response today.
"Ah, I'm just listening to the new Deftones album."
And I love that for him. I told him about how I went and saw them live last year in Houston. He was amused by this, took his meds (as he always does, even despite the fact they seem to not be doing all that much for him...), and walked away.
Otherwise he's been same as ever. Was repeating "seven" and "kingdom" to me again the last couple days. One day he kept just randomly hitting the Richard Nixon peace sign pose.

Yeah, uh, I don't know.
Today I leave work early for an interview with the county Medical Examiner's office for a social work internship. Would be working with people who had loved ones die suddenly, ususally suicide or drug OD. Seems interesting; I wouldn't say it's exactly what I want to do but it's a better opprotunity than some. It's unpaid, as the majority of social work internships are, so I'd probably keep my job here at the same time, schedule permitting. Since it's in the medical examiner's office I'd get to see autopsies being done and investigations in progress. I should ask the people there if they know Detective Joe Kenda from Colorado Springs. I loved his show & books. Crazy guy, insanely high clear rate for a homicide detective, highly recommend checking his stuff out.
For now I'll head back to work, and I'll regale you all with tales of my internship search later.

See you around the fur,
chasey.
