SOMETHING WANTED VS SOMETHING NEW

It looks like my choice of my first internship will be somewhat of a hard one.
When I started my search, there was really only one I wanted, working at the org that runs the city's LGBTQ groups and Pride events. They had a few possible spots, and I was the most interested in their transgender services position, but I had to interview for their 50+ program first, and then if I didn't get that one, I would be referred for the transgender services program and/or the youth program.
In the meantime, as this whole thing played out, I put in applications other places. Gotta hedge your bets. Most of them didn't pan out, but I got an interview with the county coroners office.
